I am the first of my father to get 5 credits and above in WAEC/NECO First to go to ABU Zaria First to Get a University Degree, MBBS for that matter First to get an FG Job (Medical Officer) Worked and took calls as second on call for over 10 years My House Officers became my SRs and Consultants (stay humble oh, make ur HO no send you go collect blood for lab) Became SR at 38 (after 4 attempts) I work in beast mode, and still find time to ‘rest my head’ I own a house, drive a Benz, went for Hajj and Umrah, sent my wife for same, my wife drives a car and I can pay my kids (3) school fees. All of the above (minus all the aluta I’ve done) done before 40 Let us open the eyes of the younger ones to many possibilities within and outside Medicine 🙏🏼

Yesterday night, unknown gunmen stormed Kankara General Hospital in Ƙankara LGA of Katsina State, they shot Dr. Murtala Sale Dandashire and abducted five people in the hospital. He is currently receiving medical care. May Allah SWT grant him speedy, whole and lasting recovery. There is a need to improve security in the hospitals across Katsina State. Within the past three months, bandits have reportedly entered three hospitals: Kurfi General Hospital, Mai Tsani hospital in Dutsin-ma LGA and Kankara General Hospital. Other hot spots are Danmusa, Safana, Sabuwa, Jibia, Batsari, Wagini (specifically) There is need to evacuate all doctors in GH Kankara and closely assess the situations in these other places with an eye on evacuation also. We can’t wait until a Doctor is killed before action. NB: Dr. Murtala Saleh Dandashire, an indigene Kankara LGA, is the best graduating Medical student of the year 2019, from the Medical School of the prestigious ABU Zaria.
