@Urodoc46 @sharaf20581 Extraction incision will still be a fraction compared to full open and all the exposure needed to do full op. Major benefits on blood loss and recovery also. We did a 16cm 2.5kg tumour robotically. Big extraction site yes but patient still went home POD2.

@Urodoc46 @PeteGrice @benstarmer "Guaranteeing" the inclusion of complex centralised procedures into rotations isn't practical as each year group of trainees is different. Fellowship model is here to stay though some will manage without. Plenty more fellowships being offered around the country.

Great job on a challenging case!
Challenging robotic partial case as it was a large hilar tumour close to renal pelvis. Nephron sparing surgery was imperative due to poor renal function and a poor contralateral kidney. @MidYorkshireNHS @DosMyht @MYHTUrology @innersightlabs @moaldiwani @IntuitiveSurg

Nice range of cases all comfortably approached via the retro approach. Even anterior tumours such as this. All cases with minimal blood loss. All patients home the following day 🦾
