Amen!!!
We are all responsible and held accountable for knowing what Gods word says. We are told to test every Spirit to see if it’s from God. Where do we go for knowledge and to know who God is? The scriptures. There’s no excuse for deception when you’re in the word regularly and being guided by the Holy Spirit. He leads into all truth. Take whatever lenses you have on, off and let Him guide you. We are warned multiple times about deceptive Spirits. Don’t ignore these warnings!👇🏼 “And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.” -2 Corinthians 11:14-15 “The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” -2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 “For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.” -Matthew 24:24 “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” -1 John 4:1

@rachallison1 Matthew 5:28 but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

@rachallison1 Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

@rachallison1 Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, Ephesians 5:28 So husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself;

And now is not the time to be lukewarm. Revelation 3:16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. It’s important to recognize that many people may feel they are right with God, yet they might be lukewarm without even realizing it. 2 Corinthians 13:5

RT @BasedMikeLee: Anyone else find this deeply disturbing—even with the @DOGE numbers providing a glimmer of hope?

Yes, Ephesians 6:12 says: For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
I’m seeing a whole lot of “Ban Porn on X” posts and I think that’s great. All of Christianity agrees on that and it’s rare that you see us all come together on an issue. But what I’m not seeing is practical, biblical guidance on how to combat the sin of lust. Two things come to mind: 1. What did Jesus do when He was tempted in the wilderness? He was at His weakest point having fasted for forty days and nights. And at His humanly weakest point, He used the Holy Scriptures to fight temptation by Satan himself. If Jesus needed the Word, how much more do we need it? Find verses that speak to the sin of lust and memorize them. Recite them in the moment of temptation. Write them down and pray over them. Use the verses in prayer when that moment seems like you can’t escape. Here are some verses I think might be helpful: Psalm 119:37: [37] Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways. 1 Corinthians 6:18: [18] Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Colossians 3:5: [5] Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 2. The power of the Holy Spirit resides in the believer, and with that power you can overcome any temptation. What’s the key to activating that power? Faith. Do you believe what God has said about lust and sex? Do you believe that the Spirit can defeat your temptation? You, on your own, are no match for the powers of hell and the temptations of your flesh. But that’s why God gave us the Spirit—to overcome sin and walk in obedience. And every act of obedience is a display of faith. I once heard a man phrase it this way, “The phone will still ring, but you don’t have to answer.” Titus 2:11-12: [11] For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, [12] training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age
