On a road closure. Driver of this car says he lives inside said closure. I ask for proof, he has none. Check the vehicle to see where it's registered. Car has no insurance. Driver has no licence either. Plus one bald tyre. Reported, seized and prohibited from the road.

Saw this vehicle on the A12 whilst driving home from London with my girlfriend & kids. Driver was swerving across the lanes, nearly colliding with other cars. A call to 999 for TDJ colleagues to assist. Vehicle stopped & driver breathalysed. He failed. Off to custody for him.

Learner rider. Pulls a wheelie away from the lights, straight towards me. No L plates,or rear indicators. Reported for driving without due care, not in accordance and failing to maintain lamps. S. 59 warning also issued. Rider was wanted for failing to appear too. Arrested.

This stolen vehicle failed to stop for Essex police on the M11/A406 before being lost by them. I picked it up on the A12 where it still to fail to stop. Eventually crashed in Tower Hamlets. Driver tried to run, but didn't get very far. Arrested for Agg TDA & dangerous driving.

He claimed the change of speed limit sign was damaged. It wasn't. He was found guilty. 6pts £1104 in costs and fines.

Currently on the A406 at Ilford dealing with an overturned car. Between my colleague and I we've recorded seven drivers filming the vehicle on their mobile phones. We took over from our early shift colleagues twenty minutes ago. N.I.P's are in the post. Early turn had sixteen 😳

Stopped a Mercedes outside our traffic base to discuss the manner of driving. Noticed driver wasn't wearing a seatbelt and also noticed a strong smell of cannabis in the car. Road side drug test administered, which he failed. Now in custody doing drug drive procedure.

Stopped this vehicle due to tinted front windows. Amount of light passing through should be 70% and above. This cars window only allowed 4% putting it in a dangerous condition. Driver reported.

Was out on a motorbike again today. Popped down to Tower Hamlets, 3 no seat belt tickets and 1 for tinted windows. Then off to Waltham Forest, another 3 no seat belt tickets and one for using a mobile phone whilst driving. Ended the day with a blue light run to a dog on the A127.

This speed is not acceptable in a 40mph zone (Royal Docks Rd E6). The driver denied doing the speed, even after seeing footage of his car from our vehicles on board cameras that were filming the road. Guess I'll be going to court with this one then.

After our two RTC's we stopped this car as the driver wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Turns out he wasn't named on the policy of insurance. Driver reported and vehicle seized.

Eventful late shift yesterday. Recovered a stolen Porsche with assistance of the tracker company. Assisted in a TPAC job on the A13.
Then issued the following tickets
1 x speed
1 x Mobile phone
3 x No seatbelt
1 x No driving licence (vehicle seized).

And this is why you don't drink and drive. This happened Xmas eve morning on the A12. Luckily no one else involved. Driver blew 67 at the roadside. Taken to hospital where it was found that he'd broken his leg in 5 places. Awaiting blood results.

This was one of 9 vehicles reported for speeding on the A13 Canning Town Flyover, which is a 30 zone. The driver of this car was doing 71 MPH. He initially tried to give false details, but was quickly found out. Reason for lying, not insured to drive. Vehicle seized.

Stopped this car due to two out of its three brake lights not working. Driver had a non EU licence but had lived in the UK for over a year, meaning that this licence was no longer valid. No UK licence so vehicle seized and driver reported for both offences.

Second RTC of the day, this time on the A13 towards London. This one involved a motorcycle and a van. Rider had minor injuries to his shoulder. To all those shouting at us for closing a lane, it was for your safety as the bike had dumped all its oil on the carriageway.

This driver of this vehicle decided to bring himself to our attention by changing in to our lane just as we were about to pass him. Luckily my driver has good reactions and avoided an accident. Checks revealed that it wasn't insured. Driver reported and vehicle seized.

Tinted windows below a certain level are illegal. The front side windows should allow 70% of light through. This vehicle only allowed 4% The driver has now removed the tint film from his car. He also had two bald tyres. PG9 prohibition notice issued until faults are rectified.

A13 Canning Town Flyover. BMW doing 50 in a 30. It fails to stop. Short pursuit which ended in the New Barn St underpass after it hit the wall. Drivers own car on false plates. Reported for excess speed, without due care, FTS, No licence, no insurance, false VRM and no seatbelt.

I saw this vehicle on the Romford Rd E12 with 8 people on board. 5 adults & 3 young children. Vehicle stopped where I found that the driver only had a provisional licence. Reported for carrying passengers in a manner likely to cause danger & no driving licence. Vehicle seized.

Whilst dealing with a stop the passenger of this van decided to make noises at us as he drove past. Silly thing to do whilst not wearing a seatbelt. Caught up and found numerous defects on the van, so it was prohibited from the road. Passenger reported for no seatbelt.

14/07 I was at the end of the George Green tunnel with a broken down car. Red X's were up closing lane 1. 2 hours I was there (car had no power & couldn't be moved) I recorded numerous vehicles driving in lane 1. Today i reviewed my BWV camera. 230 drivers will receive a N.I.P.

2 more tickets issued. Another driver without a seatbelt. Whilst speaking to him, a moped rides past me on the pavement and parks outside the restaurant he delivers for. He seemed to think that as it was only for a short distance (40 metres) that it was OK. Urm, no its not.

The driver of this van was stopped as his vision to the nearside was obscured by this roll of carpet. It also transpired that he wasn't insured. Reported for both offences.

Stopped this vehicle as the driver was using a sock as his petrol cap 😳 Upon further examination it was found that one of the nearside tyres on the rear dual axle was flat. It had 0 PSI. Vehicle prohibited and driver reported for under inflated tyre and insecure fuel tank.

Stopped a moped after seeing its centre stand dragging along the road.
Moped examined with faulty steering & suspension found. The fluid from the suspension had also leaked all over the brake pads and disc. PG9 issued and driver reported for dangerous condition.

Spot of speed enforcement last night on the A12, between Aldborough Road North & Hainault Rd. A regular spot for me and my colleagues, yet people still like to exceed the 40MPH limit. We aren't hidden, we're stood there in bright yellow jackets, next to a big shiny 🚔.

First stop of the day was on a car with very dark tinted front windows. When measured with a tint tester they were found to have a 96% tint, meaning only 4% of light was passing through. Law states that 70% light must pass through the front door windows. Driver reported.

Thought I'd just stopped Benjamin Button. Turns out it was a 24yr old trying to fob me off with a false name and a 1958 date of birth. After pointing out he's getting close to turning a traffic offence into a criminal one, he gave his real info. Not insured, provisional licence.

Three week vehicle examiners course starts tomorrow. I know absolutely nothing about how vehicles work. I can drive them, fuel them, check tyres, oil etc. How they actually work, I've not got a clue. Not sure if that's a help or a hindrance for the course. I'll find out tomorrow.

Stopped a car in Romford that was making quite a racket. Upon inspection we found he had removed his silencer. In its place was this exhaust pipe and message. Thanks for the heads up 😂😂😂 Driver reported.

If you are to make such a claim, make sure that I hadn't checked the signs before I commenced, as per my statement. Then check that I didn't go back the next night, confirm that the signs were present and correct, before I carried out more speed enforcement. Doh 🤦♂️

I'm also a keen cyclist, but i stop at red lights. It's the law. If cyclists and motorists don't want to get a ticket from me, don't brake the law in front of me. If you do, then you have to accept the consequences.

Policing our current priority road, which is the A10 from Stamford Hill to the City border. Tickets issued for no seatbelts (Fatal4) and cyclists contravening red ATS. A few seemed shocked that they had to stop. It's 69 of the Highway code, backed up by S36 RTA 1988.
