@Asiritrauma1 I think there is not a single solution need prepared small hospitals with reliable referral pathways/critical care transport, good prehospital care/ triage, and in some cases HEMS/prehospital critical care

@Aidan_Baron Or not, I think this is much like the SGA/ETT debate where both are entirely appropriate depending on a number of factors. I will continue my practice of IO first when I’m the sole ALS provider and maybe be somewhat more inclined for IV otherwise and feel good about both
