And even if he was born on that island, the country wasn’t even named Haiti in the 1700s. Trying to claim the 1700s is wild.

He was born in New France and after the land was turned over, his nationality switched from FRENCH TO AMERICAN making him a Negro. If you do a deep dive into his history instead of a surface level google search it will show this.
