Got this as a gift from Vietnam. How do they make this smell like coke?? And how do you even explain what that smell is? 😵

This “cake” was ruined and wondered all week what happened. It was flat/dense like a brick. Pretty much couldn’t be eaten. It turns out i put glutinous rice flour thinking it was baking soda. I caught myself doing it again yesterday until I saw the label and screamed 🤦🏻‍♀️

Making black bean burritos for this weeks lunches and the homemade chilli sauce with ancho and guadjillo chilis is irresistible. 🇲🇽
