I’m not suggesting eradicating goals, but I think the idea can be developed. Rugby has a 2 point conversion, cricket has 1-6, NFL has kickers, basketball has 2’s and 3’s. Why just 1 goal or nothing? Could have 0.5 goals most possession, 0.75 best bit of skill etc. just an idea.
