sage is a threat in a *potential* future, possibly a butterfly effect after having dialogue exchange with silver. zeti however (disappointingly to some lol) is still a thing in the future. metal sonic being one of the greatest threats in the world to silver is also interesting.

just thinking out loud here. while the sage as silver's villain concepts has been very cool to see, from crossworld's dialogue it seems either the zeti (who are long-lived) and i suppose metal sonic that leave more of a mark on him (and the future's stake) than she is haha.

to me, their ship is very much so them already within each other's comfort zones by default. so its a comfy ship without having to face each other as hurdles, its just them against the world.

i just keep seeing these children using silvaze tag going "erm this other ship is better because they throw more banters" yeah silvaze is a VERY fluff ship lol. maybe a ship that barely has relationship drama isn't your thing, no need to put down others's preferences.

the main appeal of silvaze is the best friends (to lovers) aspect. they're fluff by default, the angst is how the universe itself goes against them. personally if one likes a more rivals-like banter with sharp tounges, those aren't really among their ship's main traits? lol.

my favorite silvaze ship dynamic is that hair-thin line between romantic and platonic and it mostly just stays there even when they're partners and tie the knot etc.

hot take but honestly the idea that the "third member" could just be anybody is kinda fun. like, they don't have a fixed 3-member team like most others. the third member can be whoever that needs their help at the time, like Vector in TSR.

and the vehicles too, and of course my centerpiece, silver and blaze as playable team together for the first time since 06. (with vector) even if you discount 06 shenanigans and the colors DS, generations etc, they both shared a dynamic as both friends and a team in TSR.

people forgetting lots of events happened in TSR 2019 that lead to some dynamics in crossworlds is so funny. but i don't blame them honestly, its not very groundbreaking or memorable but its still canon looking from the continuity. like, dodon pa literally made his debut in TSR.

i lay this out just to say scenario where blaze offers her kingdom as silver's place to take a break before he's back to doing his duties.

okay okay hold on, ideas-shmydieas. silver's from alternate futures strictly tied to sonic's dimension, so an alternate neighbouring dimension(s) makes for a safe haven because he doesn't have to worry about altering its history due to being detached from those realms.
