Elton Waddingham received his MSFL Long Service Award from Derek Budgen last Saturday. The award recognised over 50 years of service to Ashurst Wood and the MSFL. Well Done!

The curtain raiser the "Alan Washer Trophy" will take place on Tuesday 13th August at The Caburn Ground, Ringmer, kick off is 7:30pm. The trophy will be competed for between the winners of the Premier Div, Ringmer AFC, and the Montgomery Cup, Balcombe. Entry is £5, £3 concessions

The final of the Veterans Trophy competition took place at South Park FC on Sunday with Dorking Wanderers Vets winning the trophy following a 5-0 victory against South Park (Reigate) Vets. With Dorking 2-0 up at the break a further 3 goals were added in the last 15 minutes.

Royal Earlswood II were winners of the Tester Challenge Cup at Three Bridges on Thursday following a 2-1 victory against East Grinstead Town III. They have goalkeeper Kian Cope to thank for a number of excellent saves, including a penalty.

Lancing United were winners of the Malins Challenge Cup after a 2-1 victory against F.C. Railway on Tuesday. It was a tight match at Ringmer with all the goals coming in the second half.

The Tester Challenge Cup Final takes place at Three Bridges FC on Thursday 16th May when East Grinstead Town III take on Royal Earlswood II. The match kicks off at 7:30pm, admission is £5 adult and £3 concessions.

The final of the Malins Challenge Cup takes place on Tuesday 14th May when FC Railway take on Lancing United at Ringmer AFC, kick off is 7:45pm. Admission is £5 adult and £3 concessions.

Crawley AFC were winners of the Mowatt Challenge Cup in its centenary year. A tight match played in searing heat at Ringmer against Wivelsfield Green saw them win 1-0.

Charlwood Village were winners of the Stratford Challenge Cup at Three Bridges on Thursday following a 2-0 win against A.S. Crawley.

Balcombe II were victors in the Junior Charity Cup Final on Tuesday at Newhaven. With the match poised at 3-3 at half time two second half strikes saw them win 5-3 against Ringmer AFC III. A thrilling match played in an excellent spirit.

The Mowatt Cup Final takes place on Saturday 11th May when Crawley AFC take on Wivelsfield Green at Ringmer AFC, kick off is 2pm. Admission is £5 adult and £3 concessions.
