I hate people that use the word calculus in an attempt to speak outside of their native gerbil tongue. The use of it in such an irrelevant context just makes your vernacular look even more lackluster, like you pulled up a thesaurus to prop up your empty ideas. You would have said more by not responding.

The capital markets have naturally come to this conclusion as evidenced by the latent alpha that is left undiscovered for long periods of time in unstructured data. The opportunity cost to explore unstructured data is huge for infrastructure development, and even then this time investment precludes discerning signal from noise once data is standardized.
