It's sad news about the passing of my old comedy friend, Tom O'Connor. He was a much loved comedian who had a long, successful career. The former teacher became a great comedian who was still entertaining on the cruises until recently. My thoughts are with his family and friends

I was proud to call

a friend. I performed for him at his 90th birthday party in Liverpool. He was THE ultimate comedian. The world is less tattyfillarious today. My heart goes out to Anne, his wife of just 2 days, but his rock for over 40 yrs.

So sad when we can't go to funerals to show our last respects. Not only to people like Roy Hudd and Eddie Large, but also to family and friends. This is so sad, especially when it is very young people and health care professionals who give so much.
Thinking of Roy Hudd's family today, on this the day of his funeral. Thanks for the laughter Roy, raise a glass to him this afternoon.

I’ve just had a news alert on my phone. Sadly, Eddie Large has passed away. Syd & Eddie were massive in the 80’s. Eddie had his health issues for many years, but remained positive. A lovely man, my condolences to Patsy and their family. Also thinking of Syd at this sad time.
