This is a civil liberties election, and President Trump is the only candidate who has never arrested his political opponents. Reasonable people can differ about tariffs or taxes. But with an administration that arrests its critics, those issues are beside the point.

@cosminDZS There's a lot more lunacy on Global Affairs Canada's project site (link below). But more disturbing is the policy driving it.

@mkhammer The real question this raises is why no one in the Department of Retirement (or whatever it's called) thought to digitize the process at any point in the past 25 years. Serious questions of management competence here.

@ezralevant The linked CBC article cites Barbara Perry, the hate "expert" who thinks "Make Canada Great Again" is hate speech. The demand for racism vastly exceeds the supply.

The Free Press’s @rupasubramanya testified today at the House Hearing on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. She spoke about the gradual suffocation of free expression she has witnessed in Canada and warns that similar practices could soon arrive in the U.S.

@DefiyantlyFree And the reversals will come quickly, and become precedents against future challenges. The Dems think they're winning, but they're losing.

@mkhammer Most people can see that $32K or even a couple million is a drop in the bucket, but take these absurdities as indicators of the unseriousness of the people filling the bucket, and they are right to do so.

@finkledusty An enormous taxpayer-funded industry creates a vast quantity of Marxist text. Everyone has to publish, and much of it turns into unconscious parodies of their post-modern heroes. So much edgier theorizing the revolution than teaching children to read.

Over the last decade, a gaggle of police and intelligence agencies have decided that it is up to them to decide which elected Presidents they will respect and obey, and which they will undermine. I don't need to agree with everything Tulsi Gabbard has ever said to see that she has the character to bring these organizations back to their proper constitutional place, and in the process to make them better at their real jobs.
