So this happened! I'm very happy and proud to announce I've joined the @GoogleDevExpert program as the first @angular GDE from Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷 Thanks to all the folks in my life who had a role in making this happen! ❤️ Onwards to continue learning and sharing 🅰️

@Jean__Meche @michaelbe812 @angular I think we should stop saying "HostListener" when referring to this. All of these are also issues in other forms of event binding with frequently emitting sources. Many people (IME) conflate the HostListener decorator with performance issues but it's never the sole cause

@JonRistaDev Sounds like I misunderstood your comments in this thread and went down the wrong path. The point is JSX et al. putting everything in one place is not inherently a bad thing if used properly

Need to separate business logic? Create a component. Need to separate UI logic? Create a component. Need plain old HTML? Create a component. A component is the boundary in web frameworks. Not the language

@JonRistaDev And I'm saying business logic and UI are valid boundaries, but the dividing line is not the amount of files or languages, it's components. You can create presentational components for UI-only devs to work on, and container components (or injectables) for "backend" devs.
