Envoyer could become a feature inside Forge... I'm a Forge customer for more than 5 years (in total with personal and professional projects) and waiting for this since the beginning.
@basakbuilds
where's that place, mind sharing it? I've been the same and lately, I've decided to call myself a creative generalist because otherwise, it was too hard to define who I am (writing, drawing, making music, software development, etc.)

I had one more icon in there, which was . Right now, I removed all of them and back to my classic black Moleskine notebook, where I'm the most comfortable with. Those tools trigger crazy amount of perfectionism issues with me. Pen and paper rocks.

Open a new note in Apple Notes and dump **everything** on my mind. Then, review them along with my core values and mission statement, side-by-side. Strike the ones that are not aligned with my core values, mission and goals, prioritize the ones that do.
I've been developing with Laravel since v4, and it's always been a joy. One of my goals this year is to start giving back to the framework and the community. I know it's a bit late but better than never.

Amazing momentum and very inspiring. I know it's a bit late but starting this year, I will be more involved both within Laravel community and it's package ecosystem. Exciting times ahead for me! Thank you

and the whole

team for all the hard work.

"When a work becomes open source, it does not belong to an individual, but belongs to the entire open source community." This is so wrong... An open source project belongs to its owner, that's it... Open source is not open ownership...
@FitFounder
what's wrong with doing too much cardio? I'm right now doing only cycling for 45 minutes (every day) and getting better at it, eating normal (not too good but not as bad as before)... doing only one thing at the gym made me go there every day, which is very big for me.
Easy: Criticize what is wrong and complain... Hard: Define what is wrong, document the process that led to it, and criticize the process. The easy will spread negativity and cause alienation, the hard will open discussion and trigger a change.

Personal insight discovered: The total number of paper pages I use for writing, sketching, drawing, mind mapping, journaling, note-taking, and other activities directly correlates with my mood that day. The more I write, the better I feel; and the better I feel, the more I write.

'Read later' apps never worked for me—just a bunch of forgotten links or huge list of links that I procrastinate on. I found a solution with Apple Reminders. (1/3)
Meetings without an agenda are the things that you must avoid if you want to have a productive day at all. An agenda identifies the scope and sets expectations. But why stop there? Setup an agenda for the day ahead with topics and todos, just for yourself, and review them weekly.
@jeffrey_way
This is great! We had something similar but used it as a custom helper, never thought about making it a custom directive. This snippet is from a dropdown menu component where it's included on each item on a list. This makes us sure that the modals are added once only.
@driesvints
Great work! It would be awesome to learn more about your release process and how you handle this many releases. Maybe a blog post about it? :)
in my late 30s; I started to see all the invisible connections between all the books I've read and all the content I've watched/listened to. I feel like these connections were always there but becoming visible recently. It's a magical experience. I wonder if it could be earlier?

For the last 7 months I focused on the routine and the habits, which turned out to be pretty awesome. Now it's time for me to set both a deadline and a target. Thank you for this amazing reminder.
With online services and apps, no one can be sure that they will still be around in 50 years. Not even ten years. But my notebooks will be around for my daughters to be read if they are interested in doing so. There will be no obsolete data format and password issues.

22nd day at the gym (out of 22 days). No skips, not even on Sundays... Feeling great. Today I pushed my limits 20% further and thought I was dying 🤣 But now, for the rest of the day, everything seems so easy... Bring it on!
From the things I've learned with the process, the most prominent would be turning unknowns into knowns. When there are no unknowns and uncertainties, it's just a walk in the park.

I do my best to follow the scientific method. Weekends are good for reviewing observations on the experiments you did during the week and learn from them. Learn and form new hypotheses to experiment for the upcoming week. It's a process, a process which you review and reflect on.

2. Categorizing tests (high/low impact, critical/non-critical, etc.) on a high test-coverage ratio codebase and long running test pipelines

Occasionally I've been asking questions to myself to turn the auto-pilot off and take control back. My favorite one is, "What's in the center that attracts you towards itself?" For more:
When you're writing in your notebook, it's just you and the notebook. Nothing in the notebook tries to distract you. You only have the page, the pen, and your mind, and they are all waiting for you to create a connection between them.
Since Reminders is my main task manager, the link pops up when it's due. I read it, then check it off. No long list, no guilt—just a few links to read/watch daily. (3/3)
@enunomaduro
I (and my team) do this on most of the projects. I haven't seen any cons yet but for pros (two main ones): Instant visibility for whether a class has tests or not (leads to fast test coverage ratio increase), documentation right next to the class (tests are documentation)
When I'm aware, and in the moment, I keep reminding myself that productivity is just about getting results; the rest is only distraction. That's why I am not stuck with a single method. Whatever works in the moment to get things done is good for me.
@taylorotwell
It's getting better and better every day! I love how things are turning around recently and started to get close to the simplicity and joy of web development from early 2000s.
@todd_herman
Yes! Never! I'm on a 16 day streak right now, and I am feeling amazing! But this hasn't been a smooth ride, many failed starts before. The difference with this one is that I just listened to my own instincts and stick with my own way of doing things.
