Summer workouts begin today! When I was a young HC I would worry about who was going to be there and who wasn't! As a veteran now, I'm just excited to work with the guys and see who wants to compete and make themselves better!.

How do parents and kids trust a HS coach that recruits them. 1. They likely aren't following state rules. 2. They are prioritizing kids of other programs over the ones they are currently working with. 3. No matter what they say they are obviously more concerned about. .

Study: No link between highs school sports and COVID-19 transmission. All I have ever cared about is that we use science and data! We are getting more let’s make sure we use it for our winter and spring athletes @MHSAA I believe we will!

I have recently accepted the Head Football Coaching job at John Glenn! I am excited about working with the young people at Glenn and building a program that the school community will be proud of! OLW players and families, I say thank you! The last decade has been a blessing!.

For those concerned about School Sports. Remember kids (people) have an innate need to be active and together. It is far Safer for them to do this in an environment with many protocols and safety measures that school sports are implementing then without!.

Football is a game of inches. As I look at our toughest losses over last 10 years, we have lost LOS battles, LB/DB's have stalemated pullers and ball carriers get tackled backwards. These are the focus in 22' it starts in the weight room, it ends with fundamentals!.

We would have not played sports without Mark Uyl and his leadership. Anyone who says different doesn't or didn't have full picture! I'm grateful our kids got to play they only get one Shot at this and I don't believe there were consequences that came from this decision l!.
Mark Uyl, executive director of the @MHSAA, vowed to have fall, winter and spring sports seasons finish with state championships. Despite pushback from the governor's office and the MDHHS as well as some idiot parents and moronic coaches, he delivered.

Coaches do not worry about Criticism! Learn from mistakes! My social media is filled with criticism towards Dan Campbell, Nick Saban, Jim Harbaugh, and Kalen DeBoer. If they are going to be criticized despite the unbelievable seasons so will the rest of us!.
