It really makes Sonic OOC and it’s upsetting If you want Shadamy to work, Amy could move on without any tears and still be friends with Sonic while Shadow wouldn’t need to be seen as her “knight in shining armor” or her “new Sonic” Sonic would respect/support Amy’s decisions
