. In the sunshine, they did some orienteering, went Mini-beast hunting and did some landscape drawings.

Year 5 students trekked to Old John

; then sketched and annotated the landscape from that vantage point. We enjoyed lunch near the deer refuge. Children really enjoyed foraging and exploring, taking in a new environment.

On Wednesday, the Creative Council visited the Curve Theatre to help prepare for the upcoming Take Over Day on February 12th. They spent most of the day making props and resources for the day and even found time to record a promotional video!

Reception had a fantastic morning in the Outdoor Garden. We checked on our potatoes that we planted earlier this year, and we got creative with sticks. We had so much fun!! ⭐️🪴

, 5AH has learnt about Forest Friendly Farming, its role in sustainability and protecting the rainforest. Children heard from the farmers of Ngoleagorbu Coop and designed posters in support of their work!

Year 5 have been thinking about what we care about as part of phase 2 of the Schools Linking Project. We are going to share these with our linking school Broomfield Primary to create a kindness tree.

Abracadabra! Year 1 have been making magic potions and spells at Cross Corners today, as part of their learning about Fairytale themes.
We also showed lots of independence and creativity whilst making our own imaginary puppets reflecting good and bad characters.
