Kalim’s main goal is to make sure everyone is happy, while Ace’s goal is to protect his friends. They’re both very kind people. Actually during the star event(aka the first Pinocchio event), Kalim, Ace, and Ortho all had made wishes for other people.

I find their argument really interesting as it deals with Ace’s stubbornness with Riddle and Kalim’s too quick forgiveness with Jamil.
I already explained Ace but for Kalim if he wanted to really owe up to Jamil, forgiving Jamil and letting him stay was what he had to do.

Fellow does have issues that we don’t know about. He kisses up to his boss over the phone, and complains right after. Most notably he’s protective of Gidel. I would be very open to getting a reason why we can sympathize with the both of them. (BACKSTORY PLEASE 🙏🏽)

Kalim on the other hand, he wants to know Fellow’s reasons first before being biased. The thing about this is that generally Kalim is shown to be someone that has a good eye for people, but also never listens and makes assumptions. Ex: Lilia’s observation + riddle & silver.

One of the main times Kalim shows his older brother qualities is actually with Ortho, in Kalim’s PE vignette. So now up to this point he has shown himself to be an older figure to both Ortho and Ace. This whole event seems to be circling that concept.

Kalim could have good instincts with people. You can’t get nicer than Silver, Cater + Lilia are very thoughtful guardians, and Jamil, despite a lot of things, never had the goal to harm Kalim, only kick him out. Fellow /could/ be someone that needs to be heard out.

While glomas highlighted kouhai supporting upperclassmen, playful dress is more about upperclassmen looking out for the kouhai and making sure they had fun. Ex: Cater switching spots with Ace on the Ferris wheel for a better view, Vil protecting Ortho from a collapsing building
