Oh my god. I used "seat sims here" on a dining chair and they all sat at the table. Then I did "steady seat" on each sim and their chair, and they all stayed seated. Then I did "seat sims here" on a living chair and they all got their asses up and moved! 🤯🤯🤯

I made an intense infant, she got nothing but bad quirks, and omg she really is a handful. Single dad passed out like 3 times in one week just trying to take care of her. She won't eat, won't sleep, needs held constantly, has a gassy belly. She's a lot. Lol

I have my complaints about TS4 careers and promotions but, one thing I'm happy about, is that promotions are no longer dependant on you having a certain number of friends like past games. Omfg that used to drive me insane! And making friends used to be so much harder too. 😭😭

If you want to avoid updating the game, disable automatic updates on EA App/Steam/Epic and switch to offline mode before turning the game on.

so here's how I just setup my home regions settings for my current save. I'll have certain sim specific exemptions later. Like sims in certain neighborhoods of del Sol won't go to Tartosa, only the rich neighborhood will.

If you're one of the people having all these problems with EA App, I highly recommend moving to Steam. I have had zero issues (*aggressively knocking on wood*) launching through Steam. You still have to have EA App on your computer but updates and launching are handled by Steam.
The EA app is infuriating
Constantly logging me out/making me log back in & I finally decided to take the plunge but it’s been “updating” for 2+ hours. This isn’t normal, doesn’t work, & is such a broken system forced on us

Ok wait I love this! Some of these match up with what I imagine. Like strangerville leads to oasis springs which leads to del sol. And obviously willow creek, Newcrest, and magnolia are all connected. I always imagined more space between some of these but this is amazing!!

I can't play my pre-patch save files because it'll be say Tuesday, I'll go into cas, and when I come out it's Monday. Motives are the wrong colors. Like hunger still green when it's almost empty. Then there's all the usual little annoying glitches piled on top of that.

They really messed up the classes. There's no distinction between grade levels so just turned teen and about to turn YA teens are in the same class. There's no napping with your head on the desk, no note passing. You still get pop-ups when you're in class. It's so weird.
