I can’t even get a class set of markers without buying them myself. Schools would almost have to rebuild to make classrooms inaccessible. Schools weren’t designed to function as prisons. We need to tackle the gun problem or nothing will change.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have taught in person and remotely this year. The anxiety of crowded hallways, students who wouldn’t mask properly, and lax quarantine guidelines has been overwhelming. We did not sign up to be frontline workers. It’s all politics, and that’s sad.
