I actually happen to agree with Mitt Romney. ( bear with me here) Trump is not a Republican. He’s a Populist America First candidate running on the Republican ticket. The Republican Party of today spits out useless pos like Romney, Cheney, Kinzinger, Ryan, Bush, etc etc. The conservative brand of the Republican Party… of Reagan, Nixon, Goldwater, Eisenhower, morphed into a globalist political machine of war mongers and neoconservatives who sold out the base for 30 pieces of silver, cheap foreign labor, and a permanent place in the beltway swamp. Trump, on the other hand, runs against the grain in DC. Not beholden to special interests and dark money pacs, he has faced withering criticism from those who call themselves Republicans, and Democrats alike, for his Populist/MAGA views and anti war rhetoric. Don’t be fooled by his so-called allies in DC. They’re politicians, for crying out loud. They know a ride on the coattails of Trump is better than blazing a path of “America First” for themselves, because they’d be branded with the same red hot branding iron that they’re using on Trump. Speaker Johnson, Majority Leader Scalise, and Rep. Jim Jordan, are classic examples of this. They all talk a good game but are often just as empty suits as their Democrat counterparts.

Look, I don’t have a dog in this fight, because I’m a Chargers fan but I’m rooting for the Eagles 🦅 maybe out of sheer dislike for the Chiefs, their refs, and their Trump hating girlfriend Taylor Swift and her bots. I know President Trump probably likes KC but we can’t always agree.
