town centre as part of a trial to encourage residents to bin their litter. They're solar powered & compact rubbish so they can stomach more waste than ordinary bins. They can also message us when they’re ready to be emptied.

A vehicle suspected of being involved in fly-tipping incidents has been crushed. The tipper truck was seized by our environmental enforcement officers in Chatham in July 2017. Fly-tipping is not tolerated in Medway and we will continue to take action against offenders.
