DeSantis recently signed SB 1580. Under this law, an EMT who arrives at a scene like the 2016 Pulse Club shooting in Orlando could refuse to transport because being gay or trans goes against their beliefs.

@WSJopinion @scottahodge Also, the people who leave the workplace after receiving the CTC - do you know if they ever come back? Or given that study used data during the pandemic, if those folks simply spent more time at home to help with childcare and homeschooling (like so many Americans did)?
