I was a page at the tail end of Dr. Pannu's first term and into his second. He was a upstanding Albertan and a dedicated MLA and parliamentarian. I didn't agree with many of his policies, but he had my respect. Tonight an epic Raj Against the Machine will rock the heavens.
Dr. Raj Pannu has died. He was the MLA for Edmonton-Strathcona from 1997-2008 and leader of the provincial NDP for many of those years. He was kind, gracious, gentle, smart, compassionate and kind. He was also a friend and mentor. Rest in peace, Raj. You will be remembered. 😢
