The Education Minister still has questions to answer around this funding and the process that led to it.
🗣⁉️Lisneal: 'Questions far from answered...It just strikes me this was a pet project of the DUP.' ❗️Education Minister Paul Givan was quizzed on the process to award £710,000 to Lisneal College. 🎤After the Education Committee session today, @sinnfeinireland's @PatSheehanMLA spoke to Chief Reporter @jamesgould23. 🔉When Mr Sheenan put the notion of "transparency" to Mr Givan - the Minister advised him to have a look at Sinn Fein and its record with it. Mr Givan told MLAs earlier this week: "I had no role in taking the decision of funding this particular scheme. The Education Authority had £29million available to it for minor works projects. I'm not involved in deciding what funding goes."
