Sarah Strong was named one of 10 candidates for the 2025 Cheryl Miller Award, as announced by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Wednesday. The award honors the top small forward at the Division I level.

Paige Bueckers was named a top-10 finalist for the 2025 Nancy Lieberman Award, awarded to the best point guard in the nation, per the team.

I hate speaking in "what ifs" and hypotheticals... but: If UConn (who is now No. 5 in the AP Poll) can out-muscle Texas/ND/SC in the coming weeks.. they can very much find themselves as a one seed in March! The UT and SC games are going to be massive!
