I planned to finish Gura's part and then upload it as a whole but it took too much time so I decided to split it into 2 parts.
Here's the first half.

I wanted to make a one-shot action scene so I tried to utilize the 3D camera as much as I could. This sequence is by far the hardest thing I've ever done and I'm glad it turned out not so bad.
I spent a couple of weeks thinking of a way to animate water for these shots. I came up with drawing the outlines of the water then fill them with Fractal Noise, then use Displacement Map to create something like refraction.
Drawing them all is also an option, but I'm lazy.
This year after the animation short I did for my graduation thesis, I was finally confident enough to try to focus on animations and it has been a very interesting ride. 🥳🥳
Thank you very much for loving my animations so far. I only ask that if any of you wanna repost them elsewhere, please credit me and the people who added audios to them in the descriptions 🙏🙏🙏
If you're interested in animating and want to practice it, it's best to know beforehand that drawing more frames does not make your animation look more believable, it's all about timing & spacing.
Here's my old crappy animation in 12 fps for example.
At first, I intended to have Watson burn and scream in agony but I pulled my punches.
(actually it's because I was too busy with other stuffs and had to cut down the workload)

This is how I normally add camera shake in post-process using the Wiggle expression. Please tell me if there are different approaches that give more realistic movements or quicker to execute🙏
I had the chance to animate the new Godslap's PV!🙏
I wish I was a better animator though. I still have this weird feeling looking at the whole video but I can't point out what's wrong, I will try to improve myself after this.
