@ChickenMcKicken @EepyKoi rough animator is very good. ive animated with it in the past and it's got all the tool required for basic hand-drawn animation. super cheap as well

while working on the high framerate thing recently, i had to approach some bits of it with a new concept of movement/easing lol had to start using the brightness of neighboring pixels to try and convey lateral movement, since the resolution of the animation is pretty low

the true disadvantage of high-framerate animation isn't just the amount of extra work it's the amount of frames that just get completely thrown away when websites compress the video to 30FPS LMFAO

@CyberMarkArts symbols in flash are just crazy as hell. no other program has really made anything that functions as simple as symbols but offers such complex use cases. nested timelines just seem so easy
