Banks are happy to give you credit to buy personal stuff like shoes, clothes, groceries - but not for business utilization/cashflow. This is what is wrong with our credit industry. Credit is given for the wrong stuff - it drives consumption not recreation

Why I recommend tax-free savings accounts. This investment I made 18 years ago for R50k. Wasn't the best preforming but time compounded. On redeeming I paid R100k in tax! = a third of the profit/ double the original investment. If you are investing long-term, be tax efficient!

Please do not be conned by adverts claiming they can get you out of debt review. NO ONE can get you out of debt review until the debts are fully paid. These are just con artists preying on desperate people. Rather use the fee they are charging to accelerate your debt repayment.

Interest rates cut by another 50bps. That brings prime rate down to 7.25%. Remember (if you are not financially stretched) rather keep your bond and car installments the same - use the rate cut to reduce the period of your loan rather than the monthly installment.
