Tonight’s postgame press conference featured a question about whether Elon shot too many 3s. Made me long for the days of asking questions atop Alumni Gym with @adam_smith_IC and @JackHaley17. We had Tyler Seibring in the building and everything tonight.

Hofstra's Cruz Davis had 18 points to lead the Pride. Elon's TJ Simpkins had 18 to lead the Phoenix. Michael Graham had 15 points on 7-8 from the field and added 13 rebounds. Nice return to Schar Center for Hofstra's fifth-year big man.

@sportjcb Not bad. @tnBobSutton tells me today was the first day of Spring Semester classes and there's a good number of students here tonight. Much better than when I was here last Thursday, which I imagine may have been "Fake Break" after J-Term.

Overall, I think the Phoenix oughta feel mighty fortunate to only be down seven at the break. If they can tune up the defense and keep Hofstra out of the paint, and get TK Simpkins and Nick Dorn engaged, then they're in a decent position to rally.
