@pudgenet @EricMertz_KC I think outlawing guns would save lives. I am not saying that we should do that, but far fewer people would die over the next 20 years if we outlawed all guns immediately.

@88state99 @richeisen @ChildrensMercy Is it possible you are confusing knife offenses and stabbings? The per capita murder by stabbing rate is .08 per 100K in the UK. In the US the death by gun rate is 14 per 100K. You won’t stop violence by taking away guns, but far fewer people will die.

Also, it would be interesting to know what the average is relative to the total budget of each nonprofit.
