@lmacinnessnp My mum has been waiting months for a knee replacement. Her operation was cancelled the day she was due to get it. I tried to get a GP appointment last week, only to be told 'there are no appointments'. Whose anecdotes are a more accurate reflection of what's happening in the NHS?

The Scottish Government - already having some day for dumping bad news before Christmas - has announced the electrification of the nation's railways will now take until 2045, a decade later than planned. A "refreshed" plan will be published in the New Year.

Targeting asylum seekers for political gain might not be right wing but it is an incredibly shitty way of doing politics. Stop punching down on one of Scotland's most marginalised groups
The SNP is wasting Ā£2m of taxpayers cash on giving free bus travel for asylum seekers. And, of course, the Holyrood bubble is supporting them. Itās not 'right-wing' to oppose these plans, itās just plain common sense.
