While Delegate @HopeforVirginia and I don’t agree on a lot, im generally supportive of the updates outlined in this legislation that would allow Arlington to update elements of local governance.
Let’s break down my bill HB 2768 (co-patroned by @AdeleMcClure_) to expand Arlington’s ability to self-govern. It passed the House last week & received endorsements from @NAACPVirginia, @NAACPArlington, and @CivFed. Before it heads to the Senate Local Government committee next week, please let Senators Favola and Ebbin know you support.
