Honestly, I never thought that @fabtcg would change my life in the way it did. In 2021 I felt lost and like my life was lonely worth no purpose. 3 years later, I’ve traveled the world, made wonderful friends, and met the love of my life through this wonderful game. Thank you for everything so far @james_white and here’s to many many more years together 🎉🥳

Ofc I’ll always advocate for signing up early it just makes everyone’s life easier. But I do think it’s just good business practice to project some people coming and signing up day of the event. I’m going to one Sunday and they’re saying “no cap” but i can’t find images of store size and can’t find online sign ups so we’re hoping they have space for everyone.

@DiceCommando @MaskOfMomentum @AirHockeyAndrew @fabtcg i mean it’s also fair to assume you have 25% walk ins and cap at 32, not everyone knows about pre signups online. if they’re not advertised in the event locator, but only on FB/Website then some people won’t know they exist.

i’d genuinely love for you to elaborate what you mean by “right-size”. if i was a TO for a tournament i would just do my best to pack as many players in that room as i can no matter what, if u have to go buy a couple new tables and chairs then i will, because i want to be able to pack my room. more butts in chairs = more money earned

@WillLeeBrad good card in the azalea deck that plays more than 5 blues, so good in the one that’s not dogshit into jarl. still pretty bad otherwise since it is essentially a 2 drop from needing the aim counter.

it’s so crazy to think the courage of bladehold has been power crept like that card is crazy in how good it is. i had conversations a year ago where i said RITL is the most broken card ever printed into the game. while i may still believe that, it just isn’t true. codex of frailty / inertia / bloodrot traverse the universe levels of enlightenment twelve petal manifestations of miragai bonds of agony gone in a flash germinate channel lightning valley quickdodge flexors these cards are all so egregiously more powerful than RITL and i think that’s a crazy thing to think of when you realize how crazy RITL is as a card. it’s so 1 sidedly broken that azalea players actively gentlemen’s agreement to not play them in the mirror since it’s so degenerate. idk what made me tweet this or if i have any objective point / goal tweeting this. i’m just having a 5 hour road trip and speaking into the void. i’m happy with the direction of design. i like having powerful cards in the game, it keeps us from playing brainrot math simulator every single game. the different “axis” that’s nuu and illusionist perform on i think is something very healthy for an overall healthy game. having the value of your cards rooted in your opponent having less value is exactly the control this games needs. i’ve spent like 18-24 months playing smooth brain aggro decks in this game. i think i’m finally enjoying the game like i haven’t in a long time since playing new decks that aren’t aggro over the last month of the game. ————— on another note, i’ve noticed over the last 12-18 months that there’s been a large shift in the FAB community’s player base and notable figureheads in the community, and it’s all been for the better. as other games like Lorcana, OP, and SWU have come out, there’s been an exodus of people who jumped into FAB originally 3-5 years ago because of the free money, the ability to farm “EV” out of it. a lot of these people have left the game to go farm easier games, and the community has grown to be more people who genuinely love and support the game. I would go to a calling/PT 2+ years ago and it was just people seeing this as a job to farm money, not for the love of the game itself. I’ve also seen this shift in figureheads of the community. I think a phenomenal job has been done over the last 12-18 months to cultivate amazing talent for every section of FAB’s business and marketing. i think creating consistent on screen talent like @Samjobyrne and @blossomingthing who are so passionate about the game and how much they love it, has been the greatest thing done for the perception of the game on a larger stage. i hope LSS can continue this growth, and take this game down the correct roads to keep it around for the long haul. i just love playing flesh and blood and i don’t want to see that go away anytime soon.

@aw_rayner this was allowed, but stores couldn’t order a large amount of product, and if they wanted any decent turnout had to use their excess product for prize support
