Work on a Dead Space 2 remake has reportedly been shelved following ‘lacklustre’ sales of the first game, with developer Motive now focused on Iron Man and Battlefield titles.
Healing in games
HZD :"here are some herbs they will heal you
TLOU2: "craft a medkit"
Uncharted: "wait until the damage wears off "
Ghost of Tsushima: "beat your chest like a damn man"
Was playing Elden Ring dlc last night minding my business and some almost naked dude runs out of the woods with Wolverine claws and proceeds to whoop me all over the forest.
I just set the controller down and laughed my ass off.
No one. And I mean NO ONE understands the thing they are a fan of worse than The Last of Us fans.
How people can consume 2 entire games and almost an entire season of a show with no comprehension of what they're watching is frankly astounding
Remake 2 still has the best zombies imo. Not only are they smart and incredibly durable they’re desperate and relentless. This is unsettling and almost sad. Like 5 headshots and 10 knife attacks later.
Phil talked about game preservation before but Xbox still requires online check-ins for owned games. I'm glad this outage has people talking about that.
Word up. I still have problems figuring out how to turn the PS5 off lol The new UI is not very user friendly atm. But I'm sure it'll improve over time.
Beating Elden Ring was a gift and a curse. It's been months but every other game just feels empty. I was in a state where I couldn't wait to get home and play, was talking to other people playing 24/7.
I don't know if a game can do that again.
I always thought I'd never play, let alone be able to beat a game like Bloodborne but I genuinely think anyone can. I absolutely loved the experience and can't rate it highly enough.
Capcom has announced that it will be increasing its starting salary in Japan by more than 25%.
Existing employees will also get a "one-time special payment" and an average salary increase of more than 5%.
Doing a lot of unfollowing today. Tired of the negativity around stuff I'm excited about.
Like Xbox? Nice buy it. Lemme know how it is.
Like PS5? Awesome see you on PSN
Otherwise shut the fuck up
I know no one cares etc etc but I’ve decided to spend more on Nintendo for the rest of the consoles cycle and less on my Xbox and PS. I’m just more in tune with their direction right now.
Look I didn't like Ghost as much as everyone else did , it had no micro transactions and was a full polished release and they already did a free MP mode and frame boost for PS5. I have no problem tossing them some cash for what they're coming out with as it seems totally optional
WB deserves praise for shelving the PS4 and X1 versions of Gotham. It's easy to be greedy and shove something out the door that doesn't meet standards.
So I finally finished Death's Door. One of the best games I've played in years. Tremendous heart, fantastic music, challenging difficulty, and an interesting story about the will to live and the necessity of death. I can't think of a single flaw.
Last November. My life fell apart and I was told I was dead weight. A year later I graduated with honours, got a new career that I love and doubled my pay, and am dating a very successful woman who appreciates me for me.
Just because someone says something doesn't make it true.
Do you remember long before social media, actually being surprised by a game? I remember being in a store and seeing Max Payne 2 and being like "holy shit there's a Max Payne 2?!" And I kinda miss that. Now it's all leak leak leak whine whine whine
Got my ass beat in several directions last night in Elden Ring. Since then I've been thinking about ways to get better and beat those enemies. What an exhilarating feeling. Dragon burned my bum. He will pay.
Sony is definitely being shady with their digital store pricing. Saints Row is 79.99 CAD but 59.99 in stores (either sku) and TMNT is 53.49 but 49.99 in stores.
Never give up physical gaming people.
