Izuku - Final arc stages.
Excluded gearshift as I don’t have a good enough idea of it yet, but we’ll see how accurate these are when season 7 rolls around!

Kinda sad about it. I felt the best way to manage all the different colours was to focus on the dark green and yellow, mirroring Bakugo’s black and orange. With all the quirk colours too, Deku will really be a one for all rainbow.
In all sillyness, the anime would’ve had a hard time finding the right colours, as both the manga and figures based on it were pretty inconsistent. The brightness of the green and tone of yellow especially.
@JVA_FanBoy01
Even his hair being that little bit longer after the dark Deku arc gets left out, just the small details that show where he’s at mentally in the final arc.
This suit notably uses full black shading in the manga, but makes sense to appear lighter in the anime as we see with the similarly rendered sports uniforms.
It’s a fact the kneepad colour was changed by Hori though. It’s more surprising seeing how much brighter they appear compared to the dark green suit, while the anime uses the same colouring everywhere. Lighting makes a difference!
@tshw4ri
Deku realising this and making this post is the inciting incident of the movie, taking priority over shigafo and his recovery for villain hunt.
@JVA_FanBoy01
It is pretty sad how often the anime leaves them out given how much the manga does them. And when they’re there they really add to the expression!
MHA if Bones gave it the adaptation it deserves.
Made using elements of some anime frames with some hand drawn effects. I don’t pass this off as my own art, just editing for fun!

Wish Hori would give us an official new height. I measured against the boot, belt and head size, but he could be even taller if these props likely got larger with him. Some of it could be artstyle too, Deku always has them grasshopper legs.
@astrosandwitch
At the same time barely resembling himself cos of all the blood, powers and messy hair. Just a great artist playing with a great design.

@DabisPoleDance
It feels like they try to still blend the older art style into the new one for consistency. I wish they didn’t though, the few shots that fully adapt the white pupiled version look great!
IZUKU MIDORIYA.
Thanks to the amazing
@brycelangelo
on Instagram for letting me redraw his Deku fanart in the anime’s art style! Your work is fantastic inspiration!
@ChildersBrayden
This was just a guess based on elements of the costume. He could be taller as the head still looks like it should be bigger. It’s just crazy to think he’s grown that much. No official confirmation.
@ChiefOfBcrk
They use this zigzag visual when he shifts gears, and it often gets shown with a trail. With the anime removing Fajin’s energy in most instances who knows what we get. I imagine it as green in my fanart but it could be anything.
@NicoEsBurrito
So glad someone is talking about the details other people might consider small! It bugs me how inconsistent it looks, especially the blue lightning appearing without FC 100%. Just have to hope for it all again when Deku fights shigaraki in the final arc.
@MartynM21972
There were a few for the holiday period, but we don’t always get an answer now. I’m just glad if it allows Hori to watch his health (or have extra time to make great art for new chapters).
@zukulover
Surely he’ll keep the base strength quirk or evolve it uniquely somehow for the final attack and going forward. If we’re lucky he keeps black whip but I feel like all the extra quirks would have to transfer or a twist will come up to stop that.
@SakugaFang
My nitpick is things looked too on model of all things, just going from the manga-esc shots of the last episode to this one where every shot of Deku is basically the character sheet is a bit sad. Horikoshi’s art shines most in its distinctness, even if you call it consistent.
