@pinangodan @DrNeilStone Most countries in Africa were considered polio free in 2022. Malawi and Mozambique being exceptions You certainly can’t put that down to the reasons you’ve given can you? However, there was a very successful vaccine programme…🤷♂️

@ShaunHutchings4 @hughmannwright @LabourAlexB Doesn’t sound like an assumption. More an educated guess based on the lack of evidence to the contrary?

@Maccaboy101 @Mindvirus24 @i_iratus And therefore multiculturalism has existed, in one form or another, since that time? Which has always been my point

@MikeSouthWestUK @CamillaTominey There’s not a single fully automated, main line, train service in the world Not one And there won’t be for the foreseeable future

@Maccaboy101 @Mindvirus24 @i_iratus Where I grew up in south London, it was multicultural in the 60’s. There are some areas of the UK where it’s still not multicultural These are facts. With or without your arbitrary random statistics

@jasonkiernan1 @Reasoned248616 @me_maridu @Inevitablewest I did no such thing? If that’s the case, they need to get some financial planning advice fairly quickly then🙄

@jasonkiernan1 @Reasoned248616 @me_maridu @Inevitablewest So there are no married farmers? And none with partners? So no descendants? Smells like bullshit The tax rate tapers over the 7 year term, but to dismiss passing the farm over because of the rule is ridiculous

@jasonkiernan1 @Reasoned248616 @me_maridu @Inevitablewest Which is why proper succession planning is essential IHT affects anyone with an ‘estate’ worth over the threshold. So in the south east, particularly London, that’s thousands of homeowners But THEY pay IHT at 40%(not 20%) and it’s due almost immediately

@jasonkiernan1 @Reasoned248616 @me_maridu @Inevitablewest Funny you should mention Trusts, that’s another avenue for farmers to consider Fact is mate, thousands of people mitigate/eliminate their IHT liabilities every single year It doesn’t only affect family farms at all And it has naff all to do with income

@jasonkiernan1 @Reasoned248616 @me_maridu @Inevitablewest I’ll say it again, slowly IHT is only due when the landowner DIES It’s only payable on the amount OVER the threshold, at 20%, half what it is for non-farmers, and can be paid off over 10 years Pass the farm on to a descendant in good time, and the liability is £0

@Maccaboy101 @Mindvirus24 @i_iratus All those things you claim are relevant, yet only applied in the last 20 years? It could be suggested that you’re simply making shit up?

@jasonkiernan1 @Reasoned248616 @me_maridu @Inevitablewest The IHT threshold for a single person is £1.5m, £3m for a couple Once again, THEY won’t pay a penny. It’s the descendants that have the liability 🙄 Pass the farm on to those descendants in good time, and there is NO liability

@jasonkiernan1 @Reasoned248616 @me_maridu @Inevitablewest You clearly have no understanding of IHT do you?
