There’s a big cohort of individuals, bots, US MAGA posters who have a fixed interpretation of events & spout rubbish; at same time certain stories get minimised by journalists operating h under the restrictions imposed by gov who are their sponsors; this is bad for democracy and fuels the far right rubbishers.

I once witnessed a compressor stall on no. 4 engine of an Aer Lingus 747 just as it was taking off from 28. I was inside another aircraft and didn’t see if it aborted, was just on the start of the roll. I told cabin crew: “Tell Captain departing Shamrock 757 compressor stall no. 4 engine”. I’m quite sure the 747 captain became quickly aware of the engine failure, but a back-up by a witness no harm.

@MilaLovesJoe Of course, it’s inbred, except these days I’ve advancing MS and some days my arms are too weak to hold open certain doors. Nearly always people hold the door open for me.

Came here to deliveroo drugs, very likely an addict himself. This morning on @TodaywithClaire peer reviewed evidence from Canada has demonstrated that those addicted to cannabis are at high risk of developing schizophrenia, where delusions set in. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is found to be the case here.

@JamesODon Very true. My aunt & uncle lived a subsistence life on a smallholder, growing own food etc; in their old age they managed two budget 2-week holidays in the off seasons each year, usually Bulgaria/Corfu/Ibiza They were delighted with life on their minimal state pension
