Hearts fan usually posting jaded, cynical tweets about the state of Scottish football. Will occasionally tweet about other things, often gaming related.
Seeing all the Hibs reaction to the game, the "pride" etc has got me thinking to the last time I felt that way about Hearts losing. That would be the 2019 cup final against Celtic for the treble treble
On 8th April 2020, Hibernian voted to end the season in order to relegate Hearts, doing themselves out of a potential six figure sum by remaining in the bottom six.
On 9th April 2022, Hearts beat Hibs, putting them in the bottom six. Doing them out of a six figure sum.
Karma
Only in Scotland would a club whose players have breached COVID-19 guideline twice be rewarded with getting fans in before anyone else whilst all football from championship downwards (with no rules broken) are punished by not being allowed to train

Celtic are "collaborating with the government" about using next weekend's game against Motherwell as a test event for fans, Neil Lennon has confirmed.

Time to dust this off again.
60,411 with 752 Hearts fans = 1.2% of the stadium
19,852 with 576 Celtic fans = 2.9% of the stadium.
Celtic get more than double the allocation than Hearts get at Parkhead.

Whether you are someone who wants independence or not, I cannot understand anyone who watches this and thinks it's OK for Truss to speak like this. If this is how she speaks about the elected First Minister of Scotland, how does she feel about its people?
@afgavinstan
The part about feeling like being at a therapy group ran by your abuser is powerful and I agree with every word that you have written up there.
I don't work for the NHS myself, but my brother does and this sums it up well from how he describes things to me. Very well said sir
"It could financially ruin us?“ - SPFL clubs
"But you are happy for the potential financial ruin for our clubs?" - Hearts and Partick
"Well, yes. As long as we're not affected"
Scottish football is a complete circus
#SPFL
Shaun Maloney ended Hearts title challenge with blatant cheating in 2006.
Only apt we end his managerial career.
We have ruined him. We have ruined Hibs (again)
Glorious
Hearts away 22/23
Aberdeen 0/6
Celtic 0/6
Hibs 1/6
Rangers 1/6
Livingston 1/6
Kilmarnock 1/6
Dundee Utd 1/3
St Mirren 2/6
St Johnstone 3/3
Ross Co 3/3
Motherwell 3/6
That right there is why we didn't deserve 3rd place. Horrifically bad away from home and it needs sorted pronto
@CenterParcsUK
It would appear respect only flows one way, and that respect for your guests is not something that is a priority. An appalling decision, made worse by the lack of any kind of recompense for those who are now unable to use facilties that they have paid for on Monday. Unacceptable
This sentiment really hit me last night. The moment of that third goal, my son and I's reaction and our hugs, celebrations and cheers will live with me forever.
I never had it with my own dad, and only hope that it means as much to my laddie as it did to me ❤️
Ayr Chairman: Acting in self interest can only lead to division. Something must be done about it.
ALSO Ayr Chairman: I must ensure that Hearts are kept in my teams division next season to get large gate receipts for my club
SPFL: 'We need to end the league. You've got 48 hours to vote. It's URGENT'
SPFL: 'There is a potential crisis facing the game in our country. Proposals have been made to mitigate some of the effects. We'll wait until next week to discuss though'
Hopeless
But the money was all hinging on Hearts reinstatement? It was a bribe?
What were seeing here is people who want to grow the WHOLE game is Scotland trying to do just that. As opposed to those in charge, who would prefer to promote two clubs from Glasgow
Hearts usually beat Hibs.
Hearts have a bigger fan base (don't @ me, just look at the stands on Saturday. And also the FOH)
We have the greater resources.
Hearts fans would NEVER be happy losing to them in a semi, under any circumstances.
In short. Big team. Wee team.
One CEO from the Championship added: “They are holding a gun to the head of Scottish football."
Yet 26 clubs were not only holding a gun to Hearts, Partick and Stranraer's head, they were happy to pull the trigger too

Why didn't Arbroath try this whole "Sea of Maroon" patter when we were due to play them at Gayfield in the second or third game of the season? Absolutely nothing to do with seeing ICT get a large sum and thinking they want some of that 🤔
Mike Mulraney, SFA: “Fair to ask Scottish Govt to reconsider [no fans]… it's clearly a political decision, not a clinical one.”
Neil Doncaster, SPFL, asked if he agreed, and he said yes. They’re accusing the government of not following science when it comes to football. Wow!
The fact Hearts will likely end up with less than £2m for Hickey AFTER both his initial transfer to Bologna and Hibs will end up with £3m off Josh Doig before any sell on is utterly shocking stuff from Hearts. Lessons have to be learned
The Hearts transfer kitty has been boosted by a fixed six-figure sum as a result of Aaron Hickey completing his move from Bologna to Brentford in a deal worth more than £18 million.
I came away from the game thinking we gave our all against a team that none of us really expected to beat, with greater resources, a bigger fan base and a more general expectation of success.
And it has just hit me - that's exactly how Hibs see Hearts
It's difficult for chairmen in the championship, league 1 and league 2. The confusion between voting for a ten team league or a ten team league has been too much for them, never mind court and all the complications that will bring

I still really don't know where I sit on the Neilson in/out debate. I was initially pleased at his return given the success of his first spell in charge and our undeniable decline since he left. However, we have still to see any sustained improvement in his second tenure/
"Fuck Dundee United, fuck Raith Rovers, fuck the SPFL and fuck the SFA"
"Thanks Jim, but the question was what are your thoughts on areas where the team need improvement?"
There is no must for the fans here. The fame against Celtic at Tynecastle shown that there is an advantage by simply having a reduced number. Not having my laddie listen to two hours of sectarian bile is reason enough
My first time watching Hibs TV today, makes me appreciate all the more the good job Hearts do as well as the professionalism of Laurie Dunsire, Robert Borthwick et al.
Commentator has just referred to Hearts as "that lot"
Honestly, the more I see and read about last night's game the angrier I get about it all.
The "goal"
The "foul" for Jota pulling a hamstring
McKay getting skelped by a bottle and lucky it wasn't one of the many coins raining down.
Kyogo diving
Shambles of a game
Choose to demonstrate that like your club, your fans too live in Hearts shadows. Choose deleting your tweet because even your own fans thought it was terrible. Choose embarrassment. Choose Hibs
The best and worst thing about this is that they've probably been sitting on a version of this ever since
@ThisMyStoryPod
done their original version, waiting for a win to post it.
Three years and three managers later, still no win.
Rather be a poppy thief than a patter thief
@JamTarts
This is quite simply the worst result in my lifetime. Manager was already under pressure, but after this he will have lost the entire fan base. There is now no way back for him and action MUST be taken.
Embarrassed doesn't even come close to how we're feeling
Had a great afternoon out at today's
@The_FOH
plot ceremony. It's really hard not to have a huge feeling of pride and be inspired when listening to the passion that those involved have for the club and the Foundation itself. And being on the pitch is just special

You're a part time club, every extra penny is welcome. You have a stream at £12 per buy to promote. Do you
A) Try to be welcoming, appealing to both fan bases in order to attract buys?
Or
B) Antagonise the larger of the two supports, ensuring no away fans fork out for it?

We've live streamed since the beginning of the season. 'Option'?
Streaming is the home clubs responsibility.
I know people have joked about it, but it really was only a matter of time before the SFA found a way to punish Hearts for Celtic's Dubai escapades, wasn't it?
@m_smith1988
Your celebration/congratulations towards Demetri Mitchell after he ran the length of the pitch to make a block was brilliant. Loved seeing that!
@jamb0skickback
Acting in self interest is fine, until your self interest clashes with the SPFLs self interest. After which, your self interest is against the good of the game, which hasn't been an interest from the start of this.
I hope Hearts take them to the cleaners
Between last night's reporting and now this one too, it'd be quite nice for someone to use the angle that a club is attracting a growing fan base and trying to look after them.
Also, I don't want to hear "Hertz should try growing if they want to compete" from OF fans after this
Heart of Midlothian are choosing to cut the allocation of away tickets at Tynecastle to around 650 from next season.
The only exception will be derbies, with Hibernian given the Roseburn Stand, with a near-3400 capacity.
#BBCFootball
Atmosphere around Tynecastle is toxic. Fans arguing amongst themselves, players looking utterly bereft of belief. No apparent game plan, no inspiration from the sidelines. Time for the football side of our club to be completely reorganised and started from scratch

Really making people want to renew their season tickets early with current level of performances and results. If we didn't have such a good (lucky?) start to the season we'd be fighting relegation. Points dropped to St Mirren, Dundee and Hamilton is nowhere near good enough

Jordan loves Turf Moor.
Vick loves giraffes.
They both had ❤️ BPL on their tshirts yesterday.
You love dogs.
You love your housemates.
You love cricket.
Seems to fit quite a lot of the clues?
Well organised on the pitch, off the pitch and now in the stands too.
In all my years supporting Hearts I've not seen a fan atmosphere being so consistently generated, with regular new songs and so many actually singing them. And other clubs appear to absolutely hate it.
Class
I don't think there is a single Hearts fan who expects the team to win every single week.
What Hearts fans DO expect is a team who look like they're at least trying to.
➡️No-one is hurting more me
➡️ I totally understand the backlash from the fans
➡️ It’s important we all stick together
