@AmitMajmudar @longrules Yeah, Gongora and Quevedo used it frequently centuries ago: I'd only add that good Spanish (and especially Italian) prose naturally has a "flow" to it that the hendecasyllable simply brings out. But I guess I am biased as a native speaker.
