Let's face it: I am a little wierd ;) Read about How to Succeed in an Increasingly Competitive @blendermarket (soon to be Superhive!): #b3d #blender

Texturing the SkyBlade in @Substance3D Painter. I often use the path tool to draw out the panel lines. #b3d #blender

@BlacklightProd4 @chippwalters It remains in development hell until I can get the openCV library easily imported :( I was hoping Blender’s new wheels system would help me, but I looked into it last week and I don’t *think* it will.

Latest #b3d personal project. Avoid artefacts with subdivision surface modelling by always trying to keep E- and N- poles (verts with 5 or 3 connecting edges) on the flatter parts of the mesh. #blender #retopology #3dmodeling

There is something called Quad Remesh built into Blender which is a *little* like ZRemesher, although not as sophisticated. Other add-ons are of course available. In the animation, I drag the Remesh modifier to the top of the stack so it is executed before the deformation (the opposite order of 3DS Max)

Seeing as my last #b3d post went down so well, what else would you like me to post tips on for #blender or anything else?
When deforming text in #blender, the result can often appear stretched & distressed. Quickly Fix it by adding a Remesh modifier, set it to Sharp, untick Remove Disconnected and increase the Octree Depth. Be careful of high geometry though! #b3d
