Many Starbucks in SF have removed chairs and tables because they were frequently occupied by addicted and mentally ill homeless. A glaring, head-scratching sign of how much we have normalized our downward trajectory…. Our city is this way because we’ve allowed it to be this

Homelessness in SF is not the same as homelessness elsewhere. Here it’s a toxic brew of hardcore drugs, incompetent city agencies, ineffective nonprofits, political paralysis, and pure enablement. Conditions are worsening because SF’s ruling machinery stands by and lets them.
Last night at 7pm in the marina district at Laguna and Chestnut Street, a friend and former San Francisco Commissioner was brutally beaten by a group of homeless people in front of his home. He is at SF general fighting for his life. Pray4Him.

Local shop at 17th and Geary was hit last night. 10 perps in cars smashed the door with a stolen car. 50k loss and 50k damages, no longer insured after previous robberies. Owner says it’s safer to run a shop in Afghanistan than in SF because there are consequences for crime.
An angry and fed up San Francisco resident stops a man from shoplifting at Walgreens. He put his safety on the line because he’s sick of the rampant crime and shoplifting. Can’t blame him.

@sfexaminer
I'll say it again: A Public Bank is a smokescreen for City grants OF YOUR MONEY to favored causes of DSA politicians. Giving money away (poorly priced loans to poor credits) is the OPPOSITE OF BANKING.
Wake-up SF or this will pass, cloaked in insufferable virtue-signaling.
Our local SF Target has a large team of heavily armed security with bullet-proof vests. SF has normalized lawlessness. No wonder businesses, families, and tourists are fleeing.

You know how when there is a mass shooting right wingers cry “now is not the time to politicize the gun issue!” Yeah that. Well random violent crime is happening in SF, and the ultra left wingers are saying we shouldn’t politicize it. The same bullshit playbook.
@TSFAction
Predictably, the ultra-progressives in SF are blaming their big losses last night squarely on ‘billionaire tech money” and not the clear and obvious failures of their ideological governing policies and positions: A master class in cognitive dissonance and being out-of-touch.
Let's be clear: yesterday Connie Chan voted to appoint Jennifer Friedenbach, exec dir of the Coalition on Homelessness to the city-sponsored homeless oversight committee. What's next? Appointing an arsonist to oversee the fire department?

A simple analysis of Connie Chan's leadership and communications reveal one thing for certain: She really likes to "demand" things:
-Connie frequently "demands" resources for public safety (after she called for dismantling of SFPD).
-Connie "demands" only 100% subsidized
SF is one giant self-inflicted wound. Good-intentioned leaders who don't understand basic principles of human psychology (incentives&disincentives) is at the root of the city's many ills. Their zero experience at solving problems in the real world only compounds the dysfunction.
Amazed at the Twitter tantrum happening by SF’s ultra-progressive camp. Further proof that Chesa’s crowd never understood the concept of accountability. They refused to hold criminals accountable, now they are surprised that they are being fired for failing at their jobs.

The symptomology of San Francisco's downward spiral is evident everywhere - rampant crime, human suffering, and exodus of residents and businesses. It all comes down to politics and policies. We've allowed this to happen to our city by putting ideology over practical reality.
