As a football coach of young men, it’s a consistent grind of teaching technique, scheme, and situational football or football IQ. When the team collectively understands, it’s on to the next phase... and so on and so on. It’s rare to have a group of young men and committed coaches that are willing to sacrifice for more and more and more. Couldn’t be more proud of the 8th grade Holy Family squad… only 22 kids but we always had the right 11 and the other 11 contributed too. Congrats! You are the only team in CYO history to win the championship back to back! Enjoy your struggle!

@PatMcAfeeShow No doubt. That’s my dude. He is one of the guys that you want to play for and sure as hell, don’t want to disappoint. He’s also one of the few coaches that, after you win his trust, will go to bat for you after screwing up. He’ll downplay it. He’s the best.

The 2024 NFL Hall of Fame indictees all spoke really well. The “lemons to lemonade” message was hammered home again and again. Playing against many of the guys of this specific class, I can tell you I never knew the backstories. Football is hard for everyone. Regardless, these were some dudes that I had to prepare for and lost plenty of sleep in anticipation. Congrats, 2024 HOF’s! “You have to take advantage of your disadvantages.” - Chad E. Foster
