@MrsHMacGregor @PrimarySchoolBC @rebecca_cobb @FaberChildrens Some animals were included because they suited the activity they are doing - crocodiles playing snap etc. But with a rhyming text you also have to consider the number of beats in the name of the animal. Hippos are easier to rhyme with than Rhinoceroses! #primaryschoolbookclub

I think another topic that could potentially be flipped might be play or creativity. Kids are so playful and creative and often we lose that as adults sadly..,#PrimarySchoolBookClub 📚

Definitely one for an infant classroom library but could spark conversation with some older learners too! #PrimarySchoolBookClub 📚

I feel very lucky that @rebecca_cobb created the perfect Tiger - cuddly with a teeny bit of could be scary.
I read a lot of picture books in between projects but then try not to look at any while I’m in the middle of illustrating one. But a lot of the illustrators whose work I love constantly inspire & influence me, too many to list here probably #PrimarySchoolBookClub @PrimarySchoolBC
