#PostOfficeScandal #PostOfficeInquiry In a 10 month delayed FOIA Response @PostOffice have revealed the following: "We have found NO information or correspondence to suggest or show that HENRY STAUNTON took any action to block the Investigation in question." Concerning therefore that current Non-Executive Director and 'Speak Up Champion' AMANDA BURTON insisted in her evidence to the Inquiry that former Chair HENRY STAUNTON had made repeated attempts to stop a barrister-led investigation into the conduct of the outgoing CEO NICK READ. Burton then goes further in her efforts to traduce HENRY STAUNTON by claiming that these accusations to close down the Investigation were done under the "GUISE" of his concern that the Investigation was causing a great deal of stress to Mr. READ. Therefore difficult to comprehend her later statement that she believed that Mr Staunton "was genuinely concerned about Nick." 🤷‍♂️
