State and local advocates - check out the tables at the bottom of this paper to understand how this would impact your state or local community. For example, CA folks: take note that the current house proposal could mean almost 100k people prevented from getting vouchers.
With the March 14 funding deadline approaching, the House 2025 approps bill seeks the deepest cut ever to housing vouchers. It would fall $4.3 B short of what’s needed and cause 750,000 fewer people to receive assistance.
