Today is #WorldCancrrDay and my heart goes out to all those suffering with cancer especially our young children. As a two time survivor of both rectal and colon cancer I urge you if you have any symptoms at all seek the advice of a doctor as early intervention is so important. The care I received both times was beautiful and although it was tough I’m still around to see another day to which I thank God for

I’ve woken up today with a heavy heart thinking of the whole community at @ASCHSSheffield it simply reminds me of when we lost Jimmy and how it affected so many not just myself and Barry, family friends staff medics police the list goes on I will be praying for each of them that this terrible tragedy will somehow bring something good out of something so very bad. Each of us has our own ideas on what should be done but it’s our young people who will eventually be the change

My heart goes out to all the staff pupils and parents of @ASCHSSheffield a school very dear to our hearts the loss of your student is almost unbearable we will keep you all in our prayers. The determination to never give up is needed now more that ever and I will never give up RIP beautiful young man
