@unleash_yt Didn’t really think that Sonic 3 would’ve stayed at the top for long, but honestly it’s still pretty close domestically. Plus, Sonic 3 still won the opening weekend. Too bad it didn’t had the sudden acceleration Mufasa had.

@LETSAGO64 True but I think that kinda gets a pass because you could kinda assume who was going to be in there. The only surprise reveal was Foreman Spike. We have no idea what the second movie is going to be about, so I think they would release a trailer before or with the cast reveal.

@jinjin2612 this makes so much sense now… I don’t think DK has a good official sprite sheet you can make him fight in, so I can understand why early Death Battle would use this as a base. Also explains why he looks so creepy

One of the reasons, why I like him (especially in 8) is the way they animated him. Despite being a recolor, they put a lot of effort in to his trick animations being robotic like. He's stiff but puts a lot of OOFM into his movements where it feels satisfying to watch.

Not only that, but sure as hell won’t be faithful to the source material, especially if they’re doing shit like removing voicelines from Sonic CD to scratch their “Classic characters can’t audibly speak” itch.
