@Jayysen_
the overman,
they say
you come collected
in your farce
of progress,
only to realise
that to walk forward
you must walk backwards
in a many-body system
that's how it is
you,
your desires,
your experiences,
your demise
and your vitality...
whatever you think that is
i hope people realise that anything i do, i don't do it to be liked by people. be it by me posting my pictures, or my covers.
if my intent is to be liked, everything i'm doing is the least efficient way for me to be liked. i should be putting out polls and listening to people

it's okay, we get that you're upset after spending your life betting and limiting your music taste to such a small sample size
portable is the diogenes of our time, a david bowie esque figure if you will. years ago my stepfather etched lines into his hair and i mocked him, little did i know he was just forseeing a mega-trend endorsed by zazoo zeh. his eclectic deep fújì vocals make my brain flutter.
i like meeting people that don't conform to examples of people i haven't seen. people that speak languages that i don't. people that don't adhere to only a certain culture subconsciously. i really do have a bias that makes it where i get excited to meet such people.
i will say this, my identity is not and never will be dictated by where i'm from and where i am. this is why sometimes i actually have to lie around people because i know once you add geography to the equation, people's perception of the place gets entangled w YOU as a person
@kingchizom
an ineffable message
can only be transmitted
through ephemeral lies
ever wonder to yourself
why do we take these trials?
there is no justice,
to these tribulations
we play it off as art
and derive meaning
probabilistic platitudes
not mine to share
neither is it yours to bear
i would like to know how it feels to live in a body where productivity, annilihation and achievement aren't its main concerns. it would be the complete opposite of me.

facts. you speak nothing but the facts. i find that people tend to shun down examples like portable because they want to uphold a nonsensical 'stylistic' attitude that really isn't even theirs but borrowed from others to a large degree.
i know music in the south pacific can be influenced by afrobeats, i've heard copies of burna's style and etc. given the way the log drum and amapiano has taken over mainstream naija afrobeats, have any artists in the south pacific tried the amapiano/log drum style?
